   报告摘要： 

   We study harmonic maps from the 2 dim unit disk B_1 into S^2 with boundary data given by a once-covered latitude circle. Brézis and Coron constructed two explicit solutions and asked whether these are other solutions. Our main result gives a negative answer: every weak harmonic map with this boundary trace must be one of the two Brézis-Coron maps. The proof uses a boundary rigidity argument based on the Hopf differential, the Pohozaev identity, and the sharp planar isoperimetric inequality.

   郭琪，中国人民大学讲师，2021年博士毕业于中科院数学所，研究方向为临界点理论、变分法和随机图理论等，曾主持博士后基金一项，国家自然科学基金(青年项目)一项，相关研究工作发表在JDE, SIMA, CVPDE, CCM, DCDS, JMP等杂志。
